The
company employs about 650 workers and specialists, who provide
average annual production worth of 12000000 USD. The ENERGIA
Ltd. production range of traction tubular batteries PzS
type of 12, 24, 2х24, 40, 48, 2х40, 80V voltage and
capacity of 165 to 800 Ah provides for all types of
electric trucks, manufactured by BALCANCAR.
The majority of the batteries comply with the German standard
DIN. On special request the company manufactures batteries
outside BDS and DIN standards. The batteries have a cycle life
of 1200 - 1500 cycles.
In
1993 the company started the production of OPzS
stationary batteries of capacity ranging from 100 to 3000 Ah
under ENERGIA Ltd. original
technology. The stationary battery design and technology provide
easy maintenance and a service life of 15 years.
The
company supplies also various types of racks(i.e. single-row,
double-row and double-row terraced racks) for the battery set.
ENERGIA
Ltd. supplies also starter batteries for diesel
locomotives of voltage up to 96V and capacity of 360 to 450 Ah;
batteries for lighting of railway coaches of 6 V voltage and 385
Ah capacity and for electric locomotives in the mining industry
of 120 V voltage and capacity of 350 to 440 Ah.
In
response to the market requirements ENERGIA Ltd. has been
certified under ISO 9001:1994 Quality System, the
products having also been certified under TECHNOTEST
- Bulgaria, TUV Rheinland EURQUA -
Germany and CKB - SVYAZ -
Russia.
ENERGIA
Ltd. is an export-oriented company; over 70% of its
production is being exported mainly to Russia, Ukraine, Romania,
the former Republic of Yugoslavia, Georgia, the Baltic
countries, Italy, Germany, the Czech republic. Joint ventures
have been set up for battery sales in these countries.
The
designer and technological documentation as well as the tools
and equipment used enable the factory to supply batteries
according to specific voltage, capacity and other
characteristics, indicated by the customers.
