ENERGIA Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of lead-acid traction batteries in Europe. The company was established in 1960. It started with the production of motorcycle batteries. A new plant manufacturing tubular lead-acid batteries and cells under the license of the German company VARTA was opened in 1971. These batteries have been selling well on the international and home markets.
